What the Bhutan flag emoji means

The Bhutan flag emoji shows a white thunder dragon across a diagonal split of yellow and orange. Bhutanese people use it on National Day on 17 December, marking the 1907 coronation of the first king, Ugyen Wangchuck. It also appears for tsechu festivals, trekking, archery and the idea of Gross National Happiness. The dragon is the Druk, and Bhutanese call their country Druk Yul.
