What the Thailand flag emoji means

The Thailand flag emoji has five horizontal stripes: red, white, blue, white, red, with the wide blue band in the center. It is used for Thai travel, food, and Muay Thai. Songkran, the Thai New Year, is celebrated from 13 to 15 April, with water festivals across the country. Constitution Day is 10 December, and 5 December is the late King Bhumibol's birthday and Father's Day.

How to type the Thailand flag emoji

On iPhone or Android, open the emoji keyboard and search for “Thailand” or “flag”. On a Mac, press Ctrl+Cmd+Space and type the same word. On Windows 10 and 11, press Win + . and search there, but Windows shows the letters TH instead of a flag, because Microsoft's emoji font has no country flags. The emoji is built from two regional indicator letters, T and H, which supported platforms combine into one flag. If you see the letters on another device, the app or font does not support flags.
