Embed the Germany flag on your website
Copy this HTML to show the flag on a web page:
<img src="https://allcountryflags.com/flags/w320/de.png" width="320" height="192" alt="Flag of Germany">Using the Germany flag image
The flag has a width-to-height ratio of 1.667:1, or 5:3. The three bands are equal in height, with black at the top, red in the middle and gold at the bottom. Reference colors from our data are black #000000, red #DD0000 and gold #FFCE00.
The bands should stay equal and in this order, since the flag is recognised by its color sequence. Use SVG for print, where the band edges remain clean at any size. For web pages a PNG 480 to 800 px wide is clear and WebP gives the smallest file. Keep the 5:3 ratio when you resize, and avoid stretching the image to fill a wider frame. The black band may need a light outline on dark backgrounds.
